File Share

The service helps two browsers find the same session, then the file data is sent directly between devices. Files are not stored on our server, cloud storage, or CDN.

Glass&Frame File Share is privacy by control: you choose the session, keep the sender online, and can see whether another device is connected to receive the file. It limits exposure in trusted, controllable settings, but it is not a stealth tool or a hack-proof encrypted vault.

Major file sharing services are better for long-lived links, cloud folders, and remote downloads later. This page is for quick, private, in-the-moment transfer when devices are face to face, nearby, or on the same local network, and the sender stays open until the download finishes.

The sender is the temporary source of the file. If the browser sleeps, closes, or loses network, the direct transfer pauses until both devices are awake and connected again.

The connection layer is powered by WebRTC Radio, a P2P radio-style tool for quick push-to-talk communication and direct device sessions. It works like radio, but uses an internet connection for longer reach than Bluetooth-only sharing, with Bluetooth relay support in compatible setups.

Yes. A team can reuse the same session code as a small campaign room, letting invited people scan or enter the code to receive files, images, videos, menus, decks, coupons, or event media while the sender stays online.

The WebRTC connection can use Google's free public STUN server to help browsers discover a route to each other. STUN does not store your files, but anyone with the same session code can try to open the same download room, so share the code only with people you trust.
